Meet OP’s New Ward 3 Neighborhood Planner

As Ward 3’s previous neighborhood planner shifts his attention to Ward 2, our ward’s new planner says hello:

Hello Forest Hills. I am Ryan Hand, the new Ward 3 Neighborhood Planner at the DC Office of Planning.

I will be working with the community to enhance the quality of life in neighborhoods across the Ward. In Forest Hills, I have already begun laying the groundwork to build on previous community planning. For example, I’m pursuing grant funding to advance and extend the Neighborhood Sustainability Indicators Pilot Project and the Van Ness-UDC Commercial Corridor Enhancement Study. I look forward to sharing our progress with you.

As a former resident of Forest Hills, I bring an appreciation for the beautiful spaces, fascinating history, and incredible potential of the community.
