Rose Mosner, a Forest Hills neighbor and artist profiled in Forest Hills Connection a year ago, has a piece featured in the new Washington Art Works show “Aviary.”
Mosner uses a combination of photos, found objects, and fabrics to form a three-dimensional collage.
The show was juried by Patterson Clark, the Washington Post’s science graphics editor. It runs through March 27th at the Washington Art Works gallery, located at 12276 Wilkins Avenue in Rockville. The gallery’s hours Monday through Thursday are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
And the show’s opening reception, which was to have been last Friday, is now scheduled for this Friday, March 13th, from 6 to 9 p.m.
