Here’s a question we’ve been getting a lot: Is the Murch School renovation going to be completed in time for the 2018-2019 school year?
Murch’s principal has heard it too. And he has an answer: “Yes!”
In an update on the renovation, Principal Chris Cebrzynski says he’s been told work on the building at 36th and Davenport Streets is “a bit ahead of schedule.” And Murch staff, he says, is already preparing for the move back into the new and modernized facilities this summer.
The finalists for the school’s public art installations are in the final design approval process. Most of us will see the results of their work along the fence around the pre-K and Kindergarten playground atop the new cafeteria (at the corner of 36th and Davenport), on the outer gym wall and outside the historic 36th Street entrance.
