Art and music draw a crowd. So do cider and donuts… and fire dancers.
Van Ness Main Street says more than 4,600 people came out to enjoy performances including Villanueva Fire & Flow (above), the pop-up market, and other attractions at its Art All Night event on Friday, September 23rd.
Washington Photo Safari founder and instructor E. David Luria captured several of the highlights of the night in photos and videos – because this night was about being seen and heard.
And if you did not see it for yourself at Art All Night, you’ll soon see what we mean about the cider and donuts crowd.
This is E. David Luria’s favorite photo of the night. He says it captured the spirit of the event.
Last but not least:
(In order of appearance: Mariachi Son de America | The Levine Music Trio | Carly Harvey | Cider and donuts line | Singing Capital Chorus | Working on the VNMS Art All Night interactive mural | UDC JAZZAlive Trio featuring Allyn Johnson | The Key Bridge Duo | General Macarthur and the Boulevards | Crush Funk Brass Band)
Forest Hills Connection is a program of Van Ness Main Street.
