Sections of the biking and walking trail by Peirce Mill were washed out during our big rainstorm two weeks ago. The macadam was lifted up and moved to the side by the rushing water.
It’s now barricaded. Cyclists and pedestrians have to take an alternate route through the parking lots and crossing Tilden Street. Jeremy Sweat of the National Park Service reports that they hope to have this repaired in the next few weeks. We will keep you posted.
