Police Search For Chesapeake St. Assault Suspect

You have no doubt heard about the attack on one of our neighbors Wednesday. We are shocked, saddened and sickened at the news. Please monitor the Forest Hills listserv and local news sites for updates on the investigation and search for the suspect. And please, contact the MPD if you think you have information. [title]Suspect Sought in Attempt Sex Assault & Burglary: 2700 Block of Chesapeake Street, NW[/title]

(Washington, DC)-The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with an Assault with the Intent to Commit First Degree Sexual Assault while Armed and Burglary I which occurred in the 2700 block of Chesapeake Street, NW.

On Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at approximately 10:00 am, an unknown subject entered a residence, produced a Taser, and attempted to sexually assault the adult female before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’6” in height, approximately 180 pounds, grey hair, approximately 50 years of age; wearing a black T shirt, blue jeans, and possibly driving a red vehicle.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of these suspects is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.
