A Georgetown group has approached Politics and Prose about opening a branch in Georgetown. Co-owner Bradley Graham tells the Washingtonian’s Carol Ross Joynt that he and fellow owner Lissa Muscatine are giving it serious thought, saying a Georgetown location would be home to “some kind of coffeehouse and classroom offerings as well as book talks.”
The group includes the Georgetown Business Improvement District and residents of that community.
The first (and so far only) Politics and Prose location in Forest Hills hosts about 475 author events a year and attracts such luminaries as First Lady Michelle Obama. And, Graham says, “business is good.”
