A “wall of water” forecast by the Washington Post’s Capital Weather Gang is expected to lift in time for “a delightfully mild, dry spring weekend.” We have an idea on how to take advantage of it: Spend an afternoon visiting the home studios of three prominent Forest Hills-based artists.
The First Annual Forest Hills Artists Tour begins at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home of FHC editor Marlene and husband Jim:
4526 30th Street NW (between Albemarle and Brandywine)
Washington, DC 20008
Marlene and Jim will also provide refreshments.
From there, you’ll be directed to the nearby homes of artists Joan Danziger, Setsuko Ono, and Annette Polan. The event runs until 4 p.m.Tickets are $25, and the tax-deductible proceeds go toward the operating costs of Forest Hills Connection. You can either prepay via PayPal (credit cards accepted) or pay by cash or check at the above address. Checks should be made out to the Forest Hills Neighborhood Alliance.
We are already making plans for a bigger event in the future, featuring more of the artists of Forests Hills.
Here again, are the details:
