Sfoglina reopening for curbside service, Little Red Fox working on it, and more updates from our COVID-19 directory

March 27, 2020 by FHC Leave a Comment

The food won’t be plated as beautifully, but you can order from Sfoglina again now.

Van Ness Main Street and Forest Hills Connection are keeping track of changes in business operations in Forest Hills and Van Ness so that customers have an easier time finding out what’s open and what services are available. And that, we think, makes it easier to support our local businesses.

Here is some of what you’ve missed if you haven’t checked for updates this week:

Sfoglina Van Ness is reopening today with a limited menu. Online orders placed by 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday can be picked up curbside later that day. Find details and the menu here.

Little Red Fox, which has been closed since March 17th, is working on setting up online ordering for takeout.

Politics and Prose, in compliance with the mayor’s order this week closing non-essential businesses, has halted curbside and parking lot service, but it continues to accept phone and online orders. In both cases, Politics and Prose will ship your purchases for free through mid-April.

And Flagship Car Wash is open for exterior washes only.

We are updating this page almost daily. You can help us by leaving a comment or writing us at info@foresthillsconnection.com. We also want to hear from you if you have a small business that is not listed. Tell us, and potential customers, how you’re doing.

Forest Hills Connection is produced by volunteers, and supported by you. We appreciate your support – financial and otherwise. Here’s how to donate.
