Due to Mark Furstenberg’s plan to open a café at 4434 Connecticut Avenue, our ANC is holding a special meeting on the rear parking lot’s hours of operation. See below:
ANC 3F will be holding a Special Meeting this Friday, July 26, 2013 at 6 p.m. The Special Meeting will be held in the conference room at the Methodist Home at Fessenden and Connecticut Ave. NW. The meeting will also be live streamed on the internet at livestream.anc3f.us.
The topic to be discussed at the Special Meeting is a resolution to make a modification to the Board of Zoning Adjustment Order #18496.
Pursuant to that order, BZA granted a special exception to the owners of 4434 Connecticut Ave NW to run an accessory parking lot in the rear of that property. Under the order, the hours of operation for the accessory parking lot are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In light of recent developments at the property which require immediate attention from the ANC, the ANC has good cause to hold a meeting on less than 7 days notice. At the meeting on Friday, the ANC will offer a resolution to support extending the hours of operation of the parking from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. There will be no other modifications to the order.

ANC 3F voted 4-0-0 to amend the parking hours from 6:00am to 11:00pm. There were no other actions taken at this meeting.
Hopefully this will make it easier for the bakery to move in.
