We appreciate this community’s generous support of Forest Hills Connection, in donations of time and money. And we are considering a community garage sale as an annual fundraising event and a way for the community to continue to support this publication.
Would you be interested in participating as a seller or a buyer on a Saturday or Sunday in October? An individual homeowner, a block, a few neighbors or an apartment building could set up a sale. For a fee, Forest Hills Connection would provide a map of participating sellers. And the Forest Hills Connection would happily accept a percentage of the take from the sales as a donation.
