Did you see or hear anything unusual late Monday or early Tuesday? Police are looking for two suspects in six armed robberies, including one at 1 a.m. Tuesday on the 3500 block of Albemarle Street. From MPD:
The victim was approached by (2) B/M’s armed with black handguns who stated, “Give me your stuff.” Taken was an iPhone and credit card. Lookout is for Suspect (1): B/M, 5’8”-6’0” wearing a black tank top, with short dreadlocks, armed with a black handgun; Suspect (2): B/M, 5’8”, slim build, wearing a brown hat. The suspects fled west. The victim was not physically injured.
Police think the same men were responsible for a pair of robberies to the north in Chevy Chase, and were involved in three more holdups later on Arkansas Avenue and Capitol Hill. They released this photo of a person of interest in the case.
This Washington Post story has more details of the encounters.

You have the wrong block for the robbery on Albemarle Street, N.W. Consult your original source(s) again and correct the address of that robbery. The Post reported it as occurring in the 3100 (thirty ONE hundred) block, not the 3500 block.

Do you have a link? This is from the Post story linked above:
“Fifteen minutes later, police said, the robbers were one mile down Connecticut Avenue, in the 3500 block of Albermarle Street NW, near Tenleytown.”
They spell Albemarle wrong, though.
