UDC fitness center opening now set for June

Last month, we reported the fitness center in the new UDC student center would be opening to students and the public on March 1st. Now, the opening date is June 1st.

When we talked to Cory Robinson, UDC’s fitness director, in February he was optimistic the opening would happen this month. But he had not checked off important items on his “to do” list, including exercise equipment yet to be delivered and installed and ten UDC students yet to be hired and trained, along with additional group exercise staff.

Robinson is at the fitness center during normal business hours and welcomes neighbors to stop by and introduce themselves. He will be happy to give you a tour.
