UDC student art show opens with 4/12 reception

During the construction of the UDC Student Center, we got a very public look at the artistic talent at the university when students took on the task of brightening the dull gray construction fence.

We get a chance to see more student work this month, this time at UDC’s Gallery 42. The art program’s final student art show of the year begins Wednesday, April 12th and runs through April 28th. This juried exhibit features drawings, paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures.

The opening reception is Wednesday, April 12th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It will be a potluck reception, so all are encouraged to bring a dish or drinks. Many of the artworks are for sale, and the Art Students Union will also have postcards of student art available.

Gallery 42 is in UDC Building 42, room A-12. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
