What’s New At The Farmers Market

August 2, 2013

Sidewalk chalk UDCUDC market at 4340 Connecticut: “In addition to the delicious fruits and vegetables featured every Saturday, the UDC farmer’s market will again distribute free coloring books for kids this Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The purpose of the books is to encourage children to eat more fruits and vegetables.

“Not only that, but there will be a supply of chalk on hand for kids (and adults) to draw on the ground, helping to add some color to the market!”
