UPDATE: On March 8, See The Windom Intersection In A New Way

February 25, 2014 by FHC

Update 1: Register for the event here. It will be held at the WAMU community room at 4401 Connecticut.

Update 2: Space is limited, so please RSVP – ASAP. Registration closes at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 1st.

Most of us see the Connecticut and Windom intersection like this:

Windom from east side of Connecticut

Windom from west side of Connecticut

Windom Calvert Woodley parking lot

The ANC 3F Vision Committee thinks it could be so much more. It invites you to envision an entirely new look and new purpose for the area: A community hub.

Please join the Vision Committee, in partnership with WAMU, for a workshop on Saturday, March 8th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Renowned architect Travis Price will show us Windom and Connecticut Avenue in a way we have seen not before.

We all want a vibrant and enticing community area. This means looking beyond the obvious and dreaming big. And we want to do it together through a fun, creative exercise. We’ll all be searching for the “spirit of the place!”
