Uptown Market delivers now, I’m Eddie Cano bringing in robots and other changes to our Covid-19 business directory

April 24, 2020 by FHC Leave a Comment

The coronavirus changed local businesses so much in so little time. The Van Ness/Forest Hills business directory we published five weeks ago has changed a lot, too. We’re updating it every few days to track the status of the stores, restaurants, services and institutions – and to track their innovations.

New in the past week:

  • Laliguras Van Ness has reopened for takeout and delivery.
  • Uptown Market, which recently started accepting orders online, will deliver orders within a five-mile radius.
  • I’m Eddie Cano plans to add delivery by robot. And it has added refillable growlers for beer and jugs for wine to its menu.
  • Calvert Woodley will remain closed until at least May 4th. It’s paying its staff during the closure.

No storefront? No problem. We’ll add your business, too. New this week: Gabrielle Czaja, PT.
