Van Ness Main Street sets holiday market dates and seeks vendors

September 17, 2018 by FHC

The first Van Ness holiday market in 2016.

The 2017 Van Ness Holiday Pop-Up Shop expanded the 2016 concept from one weekend to four. The market did so well, Van Ness Main Street will do it again. The four-weekend holiday pop-up event will kick off on Small Business Saturday: November 24th.

Vendor applications are due on October 3rd. This year, Ibhana Boutique will anchor a larger storefront at 4340 Connecticut. Ibhana will be joined by five or six vendors inside, and two to three more vendors outside. On all eight pop-up shopping days, Olde City Farm will sell Christmas trees, wreaths and holiday decor. There will be special weekend events such as holiday happy hours with local restaurant partners, and guests such as carolers, hot chocolate and coffee vendors, and the big man himself – Santa!

See below for more information on pop-up dates and hours and an application link for vendors. If you are a potential vendor or special guest and interested in learning more, contact Theresa Cameron at [email protected].
