Van Ness Main Street’s June 22 fundraiser is ‘A Speakeasy Soirée’

June 10, 2019 by FHC Leave a Comment

From 7 to 10 p.m. on June 22nd, celebrate Van Ness Main Street and raise money for its mission: support local businesses, attract new ones, and make Van Ness a more beautiful, sustainable and vibrant economic and cultural hub.

“A Speakeasy Soirée” is the Main Street’s third annual fundraising event. UDC is hosting the party in its Student Center ballroom (4200 Connecticut Avenue). There will be live music, and food and drink provided by Calvert Woodley, Bread Furst and Uptown Market. Attire is business casual, but “speakeasy” style is encouraged.

Purchase tickets here. Or, pay by check. Bring it to the June 15 Van Ness UDC farmers market, or contact Cherie Lester at cherie@VanNessMainStreet.org to arrange a time to drop it off at the Van Ness Main Street office at 4340 Connecticut Avenue.

You can also help out by… helping out. To volunteer for the fundraiser, email cherie@VanNessMainStreet.org.
