Ward 3 Council member Frumin launches “Workday in the Ward” May 31 in Van Ness

May 29, 2023

Wednesday, May 31st, Ward 3 Council member Matt Frumin is inviting you to his temporary office… at Bread Furst (4434 Connecticut Avenue). It’s the inaugural “Workday in the Ward,” a once-monthly chance to meet Frumin and his staff where you are.

The day will start with coffee with the Council member, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Through 5 p.m., members of his constituent services team will be available to hear your questions and concerns. It’s also a chance to connect with representatives from Northwest Neighbors Village, a nonprofit that helps local seniors age in place, and from DDOT.

The announcement from Frumin’s office below includes more details and the dates for future “Workdays in the Ward.”

This summer, Councilmember Frumin is bringing his office to you. Each month, he will host a “Workday in the Ward” in a Ward 3 neighborhood, providing an opportunity for residents to get in touch with our office in their community.

On May 31, join us for the first “Workday in the Ward” at Bread Furst in Van Ness. Neighbors can chat with the Councilmember, share concerns with his constituent services team, learn about his legislative priorities, meet agency partners, and support a local small business.

Workday in the Ward Schedule

From 8 am – 5 pm, Councilmember Frumin’s team will be available to meet with constituents, answer questions, and connect them to government and community resources. Our office will be joined by DDOT, MPD, and the Office of the Attorney General and local nonprofits like Northwest Neighbors Village and Operation Understanding. Councilmember Frumin will be present at points throughout the day.

8 – 10 am: Coffee with the Council member
10 – 11 am: Representatives from Northwest Neighbors Village
3 – 4 pm: Representatives from DDOT

Upcoming Workdays in the Ward

Glover Park – June 21
Point Chaud (2300 Wisconsin Avenue)

Cleveland Park – July 26
Dolan (3518 Connecticut Avenue)
