We’re Invited: Flower Mart At National Cathedral

May 1, 2013 by FHC

Cathedral and Geraniums and flags for webWe know people in Forest Hills who make sure their schedules are always clear in early May so they don’t miss this event: The annual Flower Mart on the National Cathedral grounds.

This is the Flower Mart’s 74th year. The theme this year is “America the Beautiful.” Here’s more information from the All Hallows Guild:

“Please join All Hallows Guild this weekend (Friday May 3rd and Saturday the 4th) on the grounds of Washington National Cathedral as we celebrate America the Beautiful at the 74th Annual Flower Mart.

“Now more than ever, due to the natural disasters that have affected this national treasure and its surrounding grounds and buildings, we hope our friends and neighbors across the Washington Metropolitan region will join us at Washington’s premier outdoor festival for garden enthusiasts and families who want to enjoy amazing food, shopping and entertainment in a beautiful setting – all while raising funds to support the care of the 59 acres of gardens, grounds and woodlands surrounding the Cathedral.

“For more information about the event and All Hallows Guild, please visit www.allhallowsguild.org.”
