Please come prepared. All you have to do is walk this intersection, from the pocket park and Soapstone trail entrance to the east, and UDC’s theater, performing arts center and outdoor amphitheater to the west.
How can we create a center, a bridge that will bring a new dynamic spirit to this area? Join the Van Ness Vision Committee, WAMU and award-winning architect Travis Price at Saturday’s session. Price is leading the workshop, and he’s made a profession of getting to the “spirit of place.”
The workshop will be at WAMU’s headquarters, 4401 Connecticut Avenue, from 9 a.m. to noon. See you there.
