Calvert Woodley hosts many beer, wine and spirits tastings at its store (4339 Connecticut Avenue). It’s going to need a lot more room for this one.

We’re invited to sample 30 rosés on Thursday, April 26, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the UDC Student Center.

Why rosé? According to CW: “Rosé has soared in popularity the last few years, especially in Washington, DC where we were recently declared the city where the most rosé is consumed per capita. Rosé has become the fastest-growing wine category in the United States and we have definitely seen that trend at CW!”

The cost: $20 per person. Bottles of tasting wines will be available for purchase at a discounted rates.

Visit CalvertWoodley.com for details of selected rosés (disregard the “2017” at the top). Click here to sign up. (You will need to log in or create an account to do so.)

Where: UDC Student Center Heritage Hall (to the right of the main entrance) at 4200 Connecticut Avenue NW

When: Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Cost: $20 per person (price is all-inclusive)
