Capital Bikeshare installed the station at Connecticut and Yuma just four months ago. Yesterday, CaBi removed the station for “adjacent building construction and utility access.” In other words, because this building is coming down:

CaBi is looking for a new location for the station. You can send your ideas to [email protected], or use CaBi’s crowdsourcing map.

Thanks for the info and Capital Bikeshares invitation to help them find a new location. I’m going to suggest the other side of Connecticut, at least for now. South of Yuma Street to the Starbucks there are 14,000 square feet of public space. Surely there’s room for a Capital Bikeshare station as well as UDC’s exciting Farmers Market!
