Beach reading: ‘The Scientists and the Spy’ e-book!

July 1, 2015

Since April, we’ve been publishing Anthony Dobranski’s mystery novel “The Scientists and the Spy” week by week, chapter by chapter. Now the first ten chapters are bundled into one easy-to-download e-book!

Even if you’re already familiar with Corporal Enos Olsen and government gal Dorothy Sharpe, there’s nothing like reading each chapter in succession. Dive into this fictional murder mystery set in 1942 Forest Hills, where scientists are working in secret to aid the American war effort – with a spy in their midst!

If you use an Amazon Kindle device or the Kindle app, download the .mobi version. To put it on your Kindle, email the file to your Kindle email address, listed in your Amazon account settings. You can also copy the file from your computer to Kindle devices over USB. (Only Amazon can update the Kindle app directly.) Download the version for the Kindle here.

Other e-readers and smartphone apps, including iBooks, Kobo, and Nook, read the .epub format. Dedicated e-reader devices use USB connections, letting you copy the file to the device. For many smartphone and tablet apps, you can attach the epub file to an email to yourself. Open the email on the device and tap on the attachment to list apps that can open it. Download the .epub version here.

    Great!

    Thanks.

I had spent some time converting the first 8 chapters into pdf format suitable for reading on a Kindle, but of course that was not as good as the proper .mobi. Looking forward to succeeding ten chapter increments.
