President, Forest Hills Citizens Association
Who knew that I would meet some very interesting folks from Europe living across the street? How did I learn that there are three (!) families that we enjoyed years of schooling with just doors away? And another coincidence: The sister of my college roommate lives half a block from me – we grew up in the same hometown!
Thanks to the Forest Hills connection – for which Forest Hills Connection is named – I roam our gorgeous neighborhood feeling comfortable knowing there are concerned, caring people seeking all levels of Connection just like me.
The Forest Hills Citizens Association has an 80-year history of community action and a future yet to be written. Please join us in making it happen. The FHCA seeks new officers and volunteers with vision and energy. We have many ideas – how about a block party with a moon bounce? Anyone interested in a gardening club? There is always clean up to do in the park or on the playground. How about a dog walker’s club? Yoga anyone? And then there is the Green Committee, committed to increasing awareness about easy ways to save energy and money.
Put your toe in the pool and come out swimming!
