The December 9th tour of UDC’s rooftop farm filled up so quickly, UDC’s extension agent and the architect who designed the garden and greenhouse have graciously agreed to add another tour on another day.

We at Forest Hills Connection hope you can join us on Tuesday, December 13th from 3 to 5 p.m.

Sandy Farber Bandier, UDC’s Master Gardener coordinator and extension agent, and the garden’s architect, David Bell, will lead the tour of the rooftop vegetable, herb and pollinator garden tour.

Sandy says the weather has been so mild that “we still have strawberries, calendula, sedum growing. Hopefully by next week, the arugula should be germinating in the hydroponics room!”

Limited space on the rooftop means the tour cannot accommodate more than 49 people, so sign up now to reserve your spot. Then, we’ll send you information on where to meet.
