Three weeks after we celebrate our restored stream at the October 16th Broad Branch Stream Community Day, we have an opportunity to help make it even more beautiful.
Sign up with your friends and neighbors to help Casey Trees plant more than 100 trees and 40 shrubs around Broad Branch Stream on Saturday, November 5th! Volunteers will receive breakfast and lunch, learn about tree planting, and have the satisfaction of watching trees they helped plant grow to maturity in this neighborhood park.
Please register for the event here if you are interested in attending.
Select “Rock Creek Conservancy Volunteer” when checking out. Spaces are limited so be sure to register soon.
Date: Saturday November 5
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location: Volunteers will meet in the park near the corner of Linnean Avenue NW and Linnean Terrace NW
Event: Volunteers will help plant over 100 native trees and shrubs to support the restoration of the area. Breakfast and a celebratory lunch will be served after the planting.
