December 5, 2016

van-ness-pop-up-market

If you missed the Forest Hills Holiday Bazaar last Saturday – actually, even if you made it – you have another chance to find special, one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and family at the Made In DC pop-up market this weekend. Here’s the info from Van Ness Main Street:

Come have a ball at the MADE IN DC holiday pop up market in Van Ness!

Van Ness Main Street will host its first MADE IN DC pop up market on Saturday, December 10th and Sunday, December 11th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 4340 Connecticut Avenue, NW. This festive indoor marketplace will feature a rotating list of over 20 local makers featuring art, jewelry and accessories, fiber, home decor items, and packaged foods.

Saturday’s special event offers a fun opportunity with your pet. Stop in with your dog or cat between noon and 3 p.m. to have a pet photo taken with Santa. All proceeds will benefit City Dogs Rescue + City Kittens.

On Sunday, join us from 2 to 3 p.m. for a holiday sing along and visit with Santa. Enjoy the joyous sounds of the Singing Capital Chorus, and bring a new unwrapped toy for donation to DC Toys for Tots.

MADE IN DC is presented by Van Ness Main Street in collaboration with the University of the District of Columbia, whose generous donation of space makes this pop up market possible.

Below are links for information on participating vendors. Check Van Ness Main Street’s Facebook page or Twitter feed for updates.
