The fates of E.T. and his friends are sealed. The Van Ness Burger King will lose its cinema magic

WAMU reporter Martin Austermuhle was at the ANC 3F meeting where a vice president of Potomac Foods announced that the guitars, the concert and movie posters, and yes, E.T. are going away in the exterior and interior renovation of the Van Ness Burger King.
