ANC 3F Sept. Meeting

September 10, 2012 @ 7:30 am - 10:00 pm

The next ANC 3F meeting will be held on September 10, 2012 at 7:30 PM at Capital Memorial Church, 3150 Chesapeake Street, NW. This should be an exciting meeting with introductions from the ANC candidates in November’s election and a presentation by DCPS about the renovations and expansion of Hearst School.

  • ANC 3F Candidates Introductions
  • Brief presentation by WHALER’s Creation (Foster/Adopted Youth Arts and Media Training) regarding its first Annual Faith-Based Community Services Awards program on Saturday, November 17th 2012.
  • Presentation by DCPS regarding the renovation and expansion of Hearst Elementary School.
  • Consideration of a letter to the District Department of Transportation to move the bus stop on the northbound side of the 5000 block of Connecticut Avenue further south on the block so as not to be adjacent to the previously approved sidewalk cafes.
  • Discussion of revisions to the Voluntary Agreement between Jake’s American Grill and ANC 3F to extend the hours of service and operation.
