Join National Park Service and Rock Creek Conservancy on Sunday, August 30 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to remove invasive bamboo at the Melvin Hazen West mini-oasis.
Bamboo is an aggressive invasive plant that can overtake wildlife habitats and out compete native plant species. This event will involve cutting, removing, and hauling bamboo out of the mini-oasis.
