Hearst Park is beginning a modernization process that could result in a brand new rec center – and perhaps even Ward 3’s first outdoor public swimming pool.
A community meeting Tuesday, May 10th will introduce the architectural team working with DGS, DPR and the neighborhood. The meeting, at Hearst Elementary’s new gymnasium (3950 37th Street NW), will begin at 7 p.m.
Their presentation will include an overview of the project, including information about the proposed pool. They’ll also take questions from residents.
If you have any questions or concerns that can’t wait until then, contact DGS community outreach coordinator Jackie Stanley at [email protected].
