“Hebrew Hammer” Hank Greenberg Talk

During the next Authors Out Loud event at the DCJCC, Forest Hills neighbor and documentary filmmaker Aviva Kempner will screen extras from the 2013 DVD re-release of The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg, which includes a phone interview with Ted Williams, more fun fan stories from Senator Carl Levin, Alan Dershowitz, and Walter Matthau, and a new interview with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The event will also feature John Rosengren, the author of “Hank Greenberg: Hero of Heroes,” and moderator Kevin Blackistone, ESPN panelist, sports columnist and visiting professor at the University of Maryland’s Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism.
