JAZZAlive in the ‘Hood

Come and join your neighbors on Monday, June 15, at 7 p.m. at the UDC Amphitheater* for an exciting evening of soul-stirring Jazz, presented by UDC in collaboration with the Van Ness Vision Committee.

Saxophonist and recording artist Bruce Williams joins pianist Allyn Johnson and the UDC JAZZtet, including DC favorites Steve Novosel (bass), DeAndre Shaifer (trumpet), Douglas Pierce (trumpet), Howard “Kingfish” Franklin (drums) and special guest, vocalist Sandra Y Johnson.

Enjoy an eat-in dinner, or a take-out picnic from one of our neighborhood restaurants along Connecticut Avenue.
