The mission of the Firebird Film Festival is to be innovative educationally and to encourage social, cultural, economic and political awareness among the UDC student body and D.C. community. The theme of the 3rd annual UDC Firebird Film Festival is “Wealth,” and features:

  • Wednesday, October 30th: Boss: The Black Business Experience, 5:30pm-7:30pm
  • Thursday, October 31st: Tell Them We Are Rising, 5:30pm-6:55pm
  • Friday, November 1st: Chocolate City, 6:00pm-6:45pm

A fourth film, Talk to Me, the Story of Petey Greene, will be shown on Saturday, November 2nd: 6:35pm-8:35pm at UDC’s Bertie Backus campus.
