To celebrate National Public Lands Day and Rock Creek Park's 130th birthday, Friends of Peirce Mill created a scavenger hunt at Peirce Mill just for kids. Peirce Mill is temporarily closed because of the COVID-19 restrictions, so this activity is entirely outside, and a great way to explore Rock Creek Park. Click here for information […]
The mill will be running, and Peirce Mill volunteers will be demonstrating a corn sheller, making rope, pressing apple cider, and taking visitors on a tour of the heirloom orchard.
