Rock Creek Conservancy is organizing an invasive species cleanup at the western portion of Melvin C Hazen Park. Registration is required. Volunteers will meet across the street from 3031 Sedgwick St NW.
This monthly hands-on workshop will teach people how to research the history of their DC house using primary sources in Washingtoniana. Researchers will learn to use building permits, historic maps, city directories, newspapers and other resources to find out about the building and the people associated with it.
