Come out and enjoy an evening at Acacia Wine Bar & Bistro (4340 Connecticut Avenue, 202-537-1040) in support of Forest Hills Connection. Meet our local artists, schmooze with your neighbors and bid on items donated by neighborhood artists for a silent auction.
If you know you want a piece you can use the “Buy It Now” option at 1.5 times the listed value. And if you think there’s even a chance you’ll be moved to “Buy It Now,” bring a check or your smart phone for PayPal payment (you don’t have to have a PayPal account to do so).
Acacia is sharing a portion if its drink and dinner proceeds with Forest Hills Connection from 6 to 10 p.m. The auction will run from 6 to 9 p.m. and we will introduce the participating artists at 7:30. We will have hosts greeting you at the door so you can quickly get into the swing of things. And to add a bit more spice to the evening, performer Jean Francis will serenade us with his acoustic guitar. It promises to be a fun neighborhood event!
