Plant trees near Peirce Mill

Join Casey Trees, Rock Creek Conservancy, and the Friends of Peirce Mill as we plant nearly 70 trees in Rock Creek Park! In addition to shade trees near Peirce Mill, trees will be planted to create a demonstration project for educational programs that focus on the role of apple husbandry in American history. On the other side of the street next to Hazen Run, we will add trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants and grasses to restore a riparian area (the interface between land and the creek) and enhance the wildlife habitat.
