  • MPD crosswalk cameras are here, and are being tested. NBC4’s Adam Tuss spotted this one at Connecticut and Everett, and actually tried to cross at that unsignalized crosswalk.       The camera is on Reno before Ellicott so I doubt it is monitoring any crosswalks since there are none there. I assumed it was a speed camera like the ones they have been placing in front of most schools in the ward.

        There are two marked crosswalks at that T intersection. A speed camera is a good addition, though. Many drivers seem to have trouble with that 15 mph speed limit during school hours.
