ANC 3F Nov. 16 agenda: A two-for-one homebuilding plan, an ADU zoning exception, and a “wine investment platform”

On ANC 3F’s plate at its Tuesday, November 16th meeting: a plan to rebuild the existing home at 3007 Albemarle Street and subdivide the lot for the construction of another, a zoning exception for an accessory dwelling unit at 3200 Ellicott Street, a resolution in support of renaming Wilson High School, and yet another firm that wants to use the former Rolls Royce dealership at 4221 Connecticut for wine storage.

The licensee is Vinvesto, which operates as Vint.co, a wine investment platform. It has an ABRA application pending.

Regular Agenda – Action Items

1. Resolution in support of renaming Woodrow Wilson High School to Edna Jackson or
Jackson Reed High School. This is a resolution supporting school and community efforts to
rename this public high school from Woodrow Wilson to one of several options that has been
proposed (10 minutes).

2. Application for Zoning Variances – 3007 Albemarle Street – This is a request to consider the
Applicant’s request for 2 Zoning Variances – (1) lot frontage requirements and (2) minimum lot
dimensions. Variances are being sought in connection with plans to raze an existing dwelling
unit and subdivide the lot to construct two new dwelling units (20 minutes).

3. Application for a Zoning Special Exemption – 3200 Ellicott Street – This is a request to
consider the Applicant’s request a Special Exemption from rear yard setback requirements to
construct detached accessory dwelling (20 minutes).

4. Settlement Agreement – 4221 Connecticut Ave – This is an application for a new Class “B”
Internet Retailer for selling beer and wine online for off premises consumption. This location
will not be open to the public. Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA) – 118313
(5 minutes).
