Changes on the Avenue: Clock tower and Quiznos

The UDC Student Center is starting to look a little more like this rendering…

…With the addition of the bones of the center’s clock tower. Our thanks to David Jonas Bardin for sharing this photo.

Change is also afoot at the former Quiznos location at 4481-B Connecticut Avenue. Brown paper is covering the windows and demo work is taking place inside.

And the final product will be… “Thai Pad.” The Washington Business Journal says it will be a 28-seat restaurant with a maximum occupancy of 33.
