Congrats to the commissioners-elect of ANC 3F

November 24, 2014

The DC Board of Elections has completed its final count of absentee and special ballots and added those totals to Election 2014 results. And in our little corner of DC, some congratulations are in order.

3F02 incumbent Karen Perry defeated her challenger, Brett Grindrod, by 91 votes. Adam Tope of 3F01, Mary Beth Ray of 3F03, Sally Gresham of 3F04 and Malachy Nugent of 3F06 ran unopposed and easily won reelection.

3F05 and 3F07 had write-in candidates working the polling places on Election Day. DCBOEE has declared Andrea Molod the winner in 3F05 and Patrick Jakopchek prevailed in 3F07.

The results won’t be certified until the DC Board of Elections performs a manual audit today, but it seems safe to assume that these outcomes are set.
