There’s no snow in the forecast – yet. But we want to help you be prepared when the day comes.
Clearing our sidewalks of snow is a civic duty. It makes it safer for pedestrians and drivers to get where they need to go. We’re also legally obligated to do so. If you don’t shovel or have someone do it for you, you can face a fine of the cost of clearing the snow and ice, plus $25.
For residents who are not able to do the work themselves, Forest Hills Connection will create a special section in our classified ads. And we’re waiving the $5 monthly fee for the season. Whether you’re placing an ad in search of a snow shoveler or you’re the one with the shovel and the muscle – your ad is free. Send your ad, 50 words or less, to [email protected].
Volunteers can also sign up for the mayor’s snow team.
Let’s be the neighborhood known for keeping its sidewalks shoveled and safe!
