Hillwood’s renovated café reopens with a new look and menu

March 14, 2019

Renderings of Hillwood Museum’s renovated café.

Bread Furst isn’t the only local lunch spot to undergo a recent renovation. The Hillwood Museum has spent the past few weeks renovating its café. And it officially opens Friday, March 15th as the Merriweather Café.

The new space comes with a new menu – the details of which are reserved for the reopening.

The museum says the Merriweather Café will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offering a seasonal selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, and entrées.

Other upcoming happenings at Hillwood:

Through March: Special orchid tours and workshops

March 30: Girl Scout Day

April 6 and 7: Fabergé Egg Festival

May 10: Pajama Party Movie Night

Through June 9: “Perfume and Seduction” special exhibition
