April 22nd is Earth Day. American University is celebrating Earth Month with Campus Beautification Day on Wednesday, April 13th (new date due to rainy weather forecast for Tuesday). And since American University’s radio station at 4401 Connecticut Avenue abuts the parklet at Windom Place, that’s getting some attention, too.
Volunteers will gather from 8 to 11:45 a.m. for planting and mulching. Bring your water bottle and gardening gloves. Volunteers are then invited to a barbecue in the amphitheater on the AU campus.
AU is also accepting your electronic waste on the quad from 8 to 11:30 a.m. The red outlined boxes in the maps below highlight the amphitheater and the electronic waste drop-off location.

Where is this taking place? I live near 4401 but am not sure where tha Windom Parklet is located?

On Windom Place just beyond the WAMU, Subway, UPS Store entrances…. is the little park with a couple of benches. That’s the site.
