UPDATE: Learn more about Rock Creek Nature and Horse Center renovations Jan. 17 and 25

Because of the forecast for ice and snow the morning of Saturday, January 14th, the National Park Service has postponed its informational sessions on the four concepts for renovating the Rock Creek Nature Center and Horse Center to Wednesday, January 25th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This session is for people interested in all aspects of the Rock Creek Nature Center and Horse Center renovation, and will be held at the Nature Center at 5200 Glover Road NW.

NPS is also extending the deadline for public comment on the concepts until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8th.

Can’t make it that Wednesday? A National Park Service representative is also scheduled to give a presentation at the Tuesday, January 17th meeting of ANC 3F. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at UDC’s Building 44, room A03. Here’s a map and directions to the meeting’s location.
