Reminder: Forest Hills mystery novel kickoff event Thursday!

April 20, 2015

Forest Hills Connection is so excited to introduce the one and only mystery novel set in wartime Forest Hills – that we’re throwing a little party this Thursday, April 23rd at 7 p.m.

Join us at Forest Hills of DC (4901 Connecticut Avenue) and hear the writer, Anthony Dobranski, set the stage for his serialized mystery thriller – based on real people and real events in our neighborhood. The National Bureau of Standards (NBS) and its scientists, many of whom lived in Forest Hills, played an important role. We’ll also hear more on that from retired NBS scientist and writer Jim Schooley. Find more details on our speakers here.

The event is free, but we welcome donations. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP in the comment section below, or email [email protected].
