Reserve your spot at the June “Movie Nights in the Park”; Van Ness Main Street pop-up makers market on June 25

Van Ness Main Street and UDC’s “Movie Night in the Park” is back for a second season. The first of the free outdoor movie nights at the UDC amphitheater is Ghostbusters on Wednesday, June 15th, Showtime is at 8:30 p.m. Register here for your free tickets, and to learn more about the location and what to expect.

The other films in the Movie Night in the Park series are Soul on June 22nd (register here), Remember the Titans on July 13th, Space Jam: A New Legacy on July 20th, and Encanto on September 23rd. Van Ness Main Street is releasing the Eventbrite registration link for each film about three weeks before showtime. Summer pop-up market on June 25

Van Ness Main Street had to cancel its first-ever Spring Pop-up Market in May because both the original and the rain dates were rained out. So now, it’s announcing its first-ever Summer Pop-up Market in June. Saturday, June 25th, to be precise, with the rain date on June 26th. The full list of the 30 or so local makers is still to be announced. They will set up shop outside the UDC law school (and VNMS office) at 4340 Connecticut Avenue from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
